Free Roaming on the Land, Inspired by Community
Where Food, Play, and Nature
Come Together
FROLIC is Farm On’s pilot outdoor learning initiative—a land-based, play-first experience for all. It’s a space where community will share and apply principals of organic farming, taste food fresh from the vine, and grow a relationship with the land that feeds them.
Why FROLIC?
Deep down, we are all natural farmers, curious scientists, and joyful stewards of the land. FROLIC exists to nurture that instinct—to let City dwellers explore, ask questions, and connect with food in a way that’s playful, embodied, and real.
What Makes FROLIC Unique:
Rooted in food sovereignty, reconciliation, and ecological inclusion, FROLIC offers alternatives to traditional learning and seeks to create land access opportunity for all.
Free range, and free of charge
This program is open to all, regardless of income or background.
Nature as a classroom
Every session happens outdoors, on the land, with the seasons as our guide.
Food connection
Participants will experience firsthand where food comes from, and how to care for the systems that grow it.
Inspired by Community
Programming is flexible, emergent, and responsive to prevailing needs and interests.
When and Where?
The FROLIC pilot launches August 2026 at Farm On.
Details like schedule, group size, and rhythm will evolve alongside the growing season and the needs of the families who join us.
