Welcome to the Farm On CSA Program
Thank you for joining us on this journey toward fresh, local, and sustainable food! By becoming a member of the Farm On CSA, you’re not just purchasing vegetables—you’re investing in a community-driven food system that values organic farming, ecological balance, and a deeper connection to the land.
This agreement is a simple way to ensure we’re on the same page about how our partnership works. It’s not about rigid rules but about mutual respect, understanding, and shared commitment to good food and good farming.
What You Can Expect from Me
Farming is my passion, and I am committed to providing you with the best possible produce each season. Throughout your CSA membership, I will:
- Grow fresh, organic vegetables using sustainable and regenerative practices
- Harvest and prepare your CSA share with care, ensuring a variety of seasonal produce
- Communicate regularly about what’s in your share, farm happenings, and tips for using your produce
- Share in the joys and challenges of farming, including the occasional unpredictability of nature
What I Ask From You
By signing up for the CSA, you become an essential part of our farm community. Your commitment helps make this work possible. In return, I ask that you:
Embrace the seasonality of farming
Some weeks may be overflowing with abundance, while others may be lighter due to weather or natural conditions.
Pick up your share on time
Your weekly share will be ready for you at both the farm and a convenient urban pickup point. If you can’t make it, please arrange for a friend or family member to collect it. Unclaimed shares will be donated to a local food program.
Respect the payment commitment
Your membership fee supports the costs of growing your food. Payment is due upon registration, with the option to pay in full or quarterly instalments available. This is a shared risk and reward farming model, refunds are generally not available.
Sharing in the Harvest
Farming is an unpredictable, beautiful process. While I strive for a bountiful harvest, nature sometimes has other plans. As a CSA member, you’re joining me in embracing this reality. In good years, there may be extra produce to enjoy. In challenging years, we’ll get creative together—perhaps with recipes, preservation tips, or opportunities to visit the farm and see the process firsthand.
Staying Connected
Communication is key to a great CSA experience! You’ll receive updates via email with details about your upcoming share, farm news, and delicious ways to use your produce. If you ever have questions or feedback, I’d love to hear from you. This is your farm too, and your input helps make our CSA better every year.
